One of the benefits of being part of the largest youth soccer club in the world is that athletes will have access to resources that will enhance their chances of finding a college where they can further their education and continue playing soccer.

The College Advisory Program (CAP) provides high school age players and their parents with an introduction to the college recruiting, scholarship, financial support, and selection process. 

“As competitive as soccer has become in recent years, we feel like Rush’s College Advisory Program will be pivotal in helping club members find an academic and athletic home,” said United FC Rush President, Brandon Timlin. “All the information made available in the program comes from years of experience in walking countless athletes through this process. When utilized, it will give our members a decisive edge in pursuing opportunities beyond the club level.”

The program walks students and parents through the steps of how to find colleges that might fit best with their skills and academic interests, as well as how to develop a timeline, resolve eligibility issues, research schools, and find additional scholarship opportunities.

With a full time College Advisory Program Director, CAP is able to provide more opportunities for players to be in front of college coaches at College Exposure Camps, Regional Showcase Teams and the guest playing program that connects players with teams seeking to compete in other tournaments.

Along with the on the field opportunities, CAP provides just as much for off-field. Including ACT/SAT online Prep Course, Highlight Video program, Webinars, Financial Aid and scholarship assistance.
